Ashley mccarty Vocal coach

Ashley graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa in 2008 with a degree in Music Education and earned a Masters in Education from Viterbo University in 2013. She began her career teaching in Lakewood, Colorado and then spent four years teaching K-6 general music and giving private piano lessons in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She has worked with student singers and musicians of all ages in many different community, church, and school programs.
Ashley started participating in the fine arts at a very young age. She was involved in numerous plays, musicals, and vocal ensembles as she grew up and throughout her time in high school. She focused on piano study during her undergraduate years at Wartburg, performing several of her own recitals and accompanying many soloists and ensemble groups as well. In addition, she sang in a number of national and international venues as a member of the Wartburg Choir.
When she is not teaching, Ashley enjoys being with her family, running, reading, being outside, and traveling. She loves working with young musicians and artists as part of the Front Porch family.
