Summer Show Information
The Little Mermaid Jr.

Our Summer Show (for ages 10–18) features our oldest students and presents the biggest production of the summer.

This program runs June 8 – July 13, with students rehearsing Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:00–9:00pm as they prepare a full-scale musical in just a few weeks!

This class is perfect for both experienced performers, and students ready to take on a bigger challenge in a high-energy, team-focused environment.

Students audition for roles during the first week of rehearsals, and every enrolled student is cast in the show.

Each week, students work with FPMT’s outstanding team of vocal directors, choreographers, and drama coaches to refine their skills in singing, dancing, and acting.

At the end of the program, students perform a full-stage, ticketed production at the Rogers Performing Arts Center, complete with costumes, sets, makeup, microphones, and lighting in front of a large audience. The cast will perform four performances over the show’s run.

FPMT provides all teaching materials and costumes from our extensive collection. Some base pieces may be requested from home. No costume fee!
