Showtime

Our Showtime Theatre Class (for ages 12–18) features our oldest students and presents the biggest production of the season.

Students rehearse two evenings per week, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00–9:30pm. Auditions will be held the week of September 14th. The cast list will be posted on September 21st, and rehearsals begin the next day! During the final month of the semester, rehearsals shift to 6:00–9:00pm, with additional call times possible for lead roles and dance groups. (Subject to change. Official class times will be posted once stage dates are secured.)

This class is perfect for both experienced performers and newer students ready for a more advanced challenge.

Students audition for roles during the first week of class, and every enrolled student is cast in the show. Roles may include vocal solos, ensemble harmonies, featured dance numbers, and acting parts.

Each week, students work with FPMT’s outstanding team of vocal directors, choreographers, and drama coaches to refine their skills in singing, dancing, and acting.

At the end of the semester, students perform a full-stage ticketed production complete with costumes, sets, makeup, microphones, and lighting in front of a large audience. Each class performs multiple times over performance weekend(s). (Stage dates to come soon!)

FPMT provides all teaching materials and costume from our extensive collection, base pieces may be asked to provide. No costume fee!
